Tuanzhouyuan embankment flooded 210 million cubic meters, Dewater equipment responded to the flood

On July 8, 2024, with the joint efforts of various rescue forces, the breach of Tuanzhouyuan Dike in Huarong, Yueyang was successfully closed, and the total amount of water retained in the dike reached 210 million cubic meters, equivalent to the water storage capacity of 15 West Lakes.

As a provincial social rescue force, on July 8, in response to the command and dispatch of the Hunan Provincial Emergency Management Department and the Changsha Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, the "Hunan Provincial Flood Control and Drought Relief Emergency Rescue Dewater Team" built by Dewater Technology and awarded by the Provincial Emergency Management Department was mobilized and rushed to assist Huarong in flood control and drainage.

13 Dewater vehicles + 300 pump sets, with a daily drainage of 5.59 million cubic meters

In this rescue mission, the number of Dewater equipment dispatched on site, the drainage capacity and the total drainage volume ranked in the forefront, and it is a well-deserved drainage responsibility.

Starting from July 9, at the dike sections such as the Tuanxi Liumenzha, 13 Dewater emergency drainage rescue vehicles arrived at the designated location and started drainage operations non-stop, operating at full capacity, and can drain 43,000 cubic meters per hour.

Starting from July 14, at the dike sections such as Ermenzha, Tuannan Village, Yuelai River, and Tuandong, 300 new pump sets joined the rescue team, and the hourly drainage volume of all the machines reached 190,000 cubic meters.

The total drainage volume of the above drainage vehicles and pump sets can reach 233,000 cubic meters per hour, and the average daily drainage capacity can reach 5.59 million cubic meters, which can drain a West Lake in 2 and a half days.

In this flood drainage rescue operation, 300 sets of QQ600, QQ800 and other series of lightweight permanent magnet pumps dispatched by Dewater Technology undoubtedly became the lead actor of the rescue.

It is understood that Dewater QQ pumps are light and portable, which greatly reduces the intensity of manual deployment operations; they have strong operational stability and can operate continuously without stopping in a high temperature environment of nearly 40 degrees on site, greatly ensuring drainage efficiency.
